084 Ocean to Shore - This gourd was created with the landscape of the sea in mind. The bottom is the sea & its floor with multiple colors found all around the islands. The middle represents where it kisses the land with its small but foamy waves. Finally, the top is covered with small seashells on a sand-colored base. The red "tongue" of coral & black lava beads represents the power of the sea to retake the land crashing into the old & new lava flows. An enjoyable conversation piece it presents some of the most beloved elements of the islands & their shores. The gourd is pyro-etched, carved, dyed with the inside painted white & tiny shells inlaid on the surface. Dimensions 9 x 7.5" weight 1#.
