106 The Teardrop Butterflyfish, or "Kika Kapulauau", is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Atoll where it is found at depths down to 250 meters. They are found in pairs or schools over shallow reef flats and seamounts. They feed in midwater on bottom-dwelling invertebrates and plankton. This gourd is pyro-etched, dyed, & hand painted.
