095 Palm II Rattle (broad leaf) - This mid-sized "people" gourd is painted with a tropical broadleaf motif. This botanical is one of the glorious plants of the Hawaiian culture & appears in many forms of art both Hawaiian and in other regions where there are rain forests. This piece has been pyro-etched, hand dyed & topped off with an emerald green wood ball. This is secured with glue and then dressed with braided leather. Nothing has been added to the gourd - the rattle is a natural occurrence. Dimensions: 12 x 3" weight 7 oz.
