079 Silent Maracas - WHAT FUN! These are a traditional percussion instrument of the Mexican & Spanish cultures & it is used in Salsa music as an accompaniment to guitars & even the tambourine. They are sometimes adorned with netting & beads on the outside to add a different depth to the music. Here they are opened up & become flowers of vivid color & are weighty. These are dyed with alcohol inks and dye. They are fully sealed inside & out with a resin pour to bring out the floral centers. The gourds are 14, 7 & 4” & are varying lengths and weights.
